Vote for us! – Green Product Award

Feb 4, 2021 by
1,461 participants from 51 countries applied for the Green Product Award 2021, which were reviewed, pre-selected and finally nominated under the aspects of design, innovation & sustainability. We are happy that our PopUp dorms are among the nominees for the Green Product Award 2021 in the category of Architecture & Tiny Houses!

PopUp dorms are highly energy efficient student dorms, which were built to the best sustainability standards. A prefabricated wooden construction allowed them to be erected particularly quickly. The project demonstrates very well that climate-neutral buildings meeting the passive house standards can be constructed quickly and inexpensively.
In addition, this pioneering project cuts the otherwise high land costs by making temporary use of unused land: the PopUp dorms can simply move on to a new location, when the land is needed for another purpose!

PopUp dorms is a good example of the level of quality and passion with which our nominees contribute to a more sustainable future.
- Nils Bader, Head of Green Product Award

The winner of the Green Product Award will be chosen through a public voting, taking place until February 14, 2021. So far, more than 45,000 votes have been counted and there is still time to vote! - Vote here!

After that, the award ceremony and a digital congress will take place from April 14 to 16, 2021 with insights of developers from various industries, Q&A sessions, matchmaking events and much more.
